“Mom, I've thought ... do me a vaccination” TWIGA Advertising Ukraine and MedInform Ukraine have developed the information campaign for UNICEF and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine

The goal of the campaign is to gain parents’ confidence in kids’ immunization

 

Infectious diseases are one of the five main causes of infant mortality in the age of one in Ukraine. However, only one third of parents believe in the necessity and safety of vaccinations.

 

"The number of vaccinations against certain diseases have already dropped below 70%, - noted the Minister of Health of Ukraine Zinovy Mytnik, commenting the beginning of the information campaign. - Later, it will inevitably lead to epidemic outbreaks of infectious diseases. The increased number of outreach campaigning is essential and important for the restoration of confidence in the vaccination.

 

“Attitude towards vaccination in Ukraine is very ambiguous, we understood it on our own experience - adds Svetlana Stepanenko, the managing director of the group of TWIGA companies in Ukraine. - Many employees of our agency, having their own children, could not clearly answer the question of how effective and safe the vaccination is. Therefore, taking part in the development of this campaign, we tried to make it as convincing and effective as it is possible, and at the same time gentle, because children should be associated only with positive emotions.”
